September 2016: I'm redoing TeriLaFlesh.org page. It's still super new, and it will have all my artsy stuff I've done on there. Right now I've gotten some artsy garden photos, and I'm hoping soon to put up paintings and drawings and stuff I've done too.
September 2016 to the present (ongoing): I've been adding to a new recommended shampoo page. It has my most up to date shampoo recommendations (as well as why I don't recommend some products). If you wanted, you can check out the Recommended Shampoos page, then poke around at everything else if you felt like it. I'll still be making changes for a while, but at least you can finally check out new recommendations!
August 2016: I'm working on a new products page that will be more dynamic and easier to add things to. Right now it's still in a rough stage, but please come take a look if you want. It has my most up to date product recommendations. If you wanted, you can check out the Combing Conditioners page, then poke around at everything else if you felt like it. I'll still be making changes for a while, but this is like a sneak peak.
The last couple years: You might have noticed I wasn't updating the site very much for a couple years or so. I debated saying anything, then thought maybe I should explain why. Apparently I was sick. I'd been sick for years and didn't know it. It was just a thyroid issue. Nothing serious as long as it's caught. Which it wasn't until just a few weeks ago. I didn't have many physical symptoms, which is why it went on for so long. I'm vegan, so the healthy way I was eating sort of counteracted the physical symptoms. However, the one thing that did affect me was my brain got all cloudy and I couldn't do anything that required thinking. So I could walk for miles and garden, but couldn't write emails, or do anything that needed thought. But at the time I worried I'd just become stupid and there was nothing I could do about it. Then I changed doctors, and my new doctor ran a different set of tests, and my numbers were crazy off the charts high that I had a thyroid thing going on. It's easily fixable, so I'm getting better and have been working on the site again and thinking full thoughts. I tell you, I've never been so excited to find out I was sick in my life! Fixing thyroid issues are easy. Once you know you have a thyroid issue. That was probably way more information than you ever wanted, but I like to have more rather than less info, so...yeah. I'm still recovering, but man am I happy to have my brain back. I appreciate so much you hanging in there with me.

What Can I Do to Help?
|
-
There are a bunch of things you can do to help support the site and Curly Like Me, even if you don't have the money to buy a copy of the book! Anything you do to help spread the word would be invaluable. You could:
-
Request your local library to purchase copies of Curly Like Me.
-
Write about it in discussion groups, discussion forums (even forums on book sites), and YouTube.
-
If you have a copy of the book, a review on Amazon is always very much appreciated. Or you could even review the techniques you learned about on this site on Amazon or other forums.
-
You can tell friends, family members (and even strangers!) about the site or the book.
-
You can also help support the site by beginning your shopping trip at any of the Amazon links on this site (like the one showing Curly Like Me on the left side of the page. It doesn't cost you a thing, but a percentage of your purchase goes to keeping the site going.
-
Please visit sites and blogs mentioned on this site―such as on the Resources page or anywhere Curly Like Me has been reviewed or mentioned―and comment in their comment sections, and tell them you heard about them from me!
Your voice is so critical to the success of Curly Like Me and TightlyCurly! Thank you so so much for all your help and support! I couldn't have done it without you, and I am so grateful for all you've done already.
